"Captain America"

Bought this special edition "Captain America" action figure yesterday. The "ice" packaging and greyscale colour enticed me to part with my $.

I decided to head back to the toy store today to get "Red Skull"* to pair it with my earlier purchase. Ended up getting the "Invaders" box set instead.

"Kingdom Come"

I bought myself the graphic novel of the above title. Love it!!! The illustration style is exactly what I like and the storyline is amazing.
Makes me so tempted to get the action figures :p

Idol

Magic Johnson is my fav basketball player of all-time. I was pleased to have bought the figure in his image. The face has only a slight resemblance to my idol but I had to get it.

Elseworlds "Red Son" box set

OMG... I finally got my "Red Son" Superman!!! Not just Superman though... I got the whole box set. It even includes the "Red Son" comic book.
How crazy is this? I totally stumbled across this box set by accident. I helped my colleague return a library book at the main library as I also wanted to loan the book "1421" which was available there. After completing both tasks, I went to the comic book store at Bugis. Lo and behold!!! There it was... beckoning me to buy it and I did. Hmmmm.... now I have a spare "Red Son" Wonder Woman. Should I keep it?

Alternate universe

Besides time travel, alternate universes intrigue me. I'm a big Sci-fi fan in case you have not already realised. I bought this last week. It is a version of the "Green Lantern" from an alternate universe where "Superman" landed in Russia as a baby instead of Smallville.

I'm now on the hunt for the "Superman" and "Wonder Woman" variants.

"B.O.B."

"Bicarbonate Ostylezene Benzoate" aka "B.O.B." is an indestructible gelatinous blob. It is brainless, always hungry and has a huge tummy... the unconventional hero.

"Tintin" spotted!!!

Was watching a "Friends" rerun on cable... "The one that could have been" and I spotted Chandler wearing a blue "Tintin" T-shirt. Way cool. I want one too!!! There's a website that documents "Tintin" appearances.
