Chunky

I love chunky figures... there's an appeal about the "blockiness" and the exaggerated form. This is one example that I have in my collection. I missed this guy so I made a trip to my parents' place to collect him.
I have others like the animated "Hellboy" action figure.

I'm in love

I fell instantly in love* when I saw this "Lara Croft" statue on the "Simply Toys" blog that I forgot all about the "Red Skull" statue I was drooling over previously. I nearly wet my pants upon reviewing the prototype and I ran down to the Vivo "Simply Toys" outlet to make my pre-booking. I have never followed the cult computer game series but she is easily one of the most recognisable gaming character ever.

"Lara" is my dream gal. She is independent, strong, beautiful and of coz sexy. I can't wait to collect her.

* Ok... ok... I have to admit... it is lust.

"Bizarro"

Was never a "Bizarro" fan. In fact, I do not know much about this character but the flowing damaged cape, purple+blue suit and superb sculpt convinced me to get it.

"Kick-Ass"

Caught the movie "Kick-Ass" today. OMG... violently funny!!! Though there was lots of blood and gore... it was comedic becoz of the music score chosen to accompany the fight scenes. Bloody brilliant.
I want to be a superhero!!! Hmmmm... what should be my secret identity be?

Came across this list and I have read a few of the novels listed. For those that I have read, I have to say they were amazing!

"The Incredible Hulk" vs "Hulk Buster Iron Man"

Was inspired by this vid to purchase this matching pair of toys. With the purchase of these 2, I am now officially a Simply Toys/Toy Outpost member!
Will create a display of "The Incredible Hulk" and "Hulk Buster Iron Man" fighting to a standstill when I find time.

"The Joker"

It took an eternity but I finally got my hands on the DC Universe Classics wave 10 "The Joker". This was a Walmart exclusive and there were a lot of greedy sellers hoping to make a lot of $ off it. It was worth the wait because I reckon that this is one of the best "Joker" action figure available.
Oh!!! Forgot to mention that this was a gift from my cousin, JP.

Makes me tempted to rip open my collection and create my own insane display.
