"Blackest Night" series

"Dr Giggles" accompanied me to CSC to collect this "Batman" figure. His plan was to buy a "War Machine".
I sighted the "Aquaman" from the "Blackest Night" series and was determined to get it. I was convinced by the seller to grab the "Earth-2 Superman" and "Martian Manhunter" figures from the same series because of the bundle discount he was offering.

What is it about undead characters that are so appealing? First.. it was the "Zombie Spiderman" and now I'm entralled with this group.

"Kingdom Come: Batman"

I finished reading the "Kingdom Come" graphic novel and was impressed by the "Batman" suit in the comic. This inspired me to seek out this figure and add it to my collection.
The card was not in mint condition and I liked the wings on the figure thus the willingness to rip open the packaging to display the figure. Massive and impressive!

My "holy grail"

"Dr Giggles" and I decided to make a trip down to "Absolute Comics" at "Bugis Junction" to window shop. Neither one of us was expecting to buy anything because "Absolute Comics" is notorious for their exorbitant prices but surprise... surprise!!! We both got stuff we desired.
I was stunned when I found my "holy grail", the DC Direct "Wonder Woman". I couldn't believe it and I had to rub my eyes to confirm what I was seeing. I quickly grabbed the item and headed to the cashier counter to reserve it. I continued my browsing and was rewarded with another bonus, "Livewire"!

What a day! Hmmmmmm... I haven't decided if I'm going to tear them open to display.

"300"

Loved the movie and have been wanting to own this graphic novel for ages but the timing has never been right. I either had the Border's discount voucher and the book was not in stock or the book is in the store but there is no sale.
Well... I am finally proud to say that it is in my possession. Bwahahahaha.

"Invisible Woman"

Never intended to get "Sue Storm" but this version with her transparent/translucent limbs was too unique to pass up. Now that I have 3 of the "Fantastic 4".... its time to hunt down a nice "Human Torch".

New theme

Decided it was time for a change.

"ToyFare"

Grabbed a copy of the latest issue of "ToyFare" because I was attracted by the cover that has my retro "Captain America" with "Thor" and "Iron Man".

"Livewire"

Stumbled across this cool figure while browsing through Youtube. I like the character's cool blue appearance and her powers of electricity.

Best "Wonderwoman" ever?

Wow... I have to say that this sculpt of "Wonderwoman" is pretty impressive! Too bad its an old item... I probably will never see it in my lifetime.

Migration

Had to move my loose figures because of the impending arrival of the new 40" LCD TV.

Hmmmmmmm... I should remove my Transformers figures... they seem out of place with the rest.

"Blackhawk"

Had no idea who this character was when I came across it... neither did the seller. Haha. Fortunately, the base hinted at which DC series to research.
I was compelled to buy this figure because of his uniform and Asian features... not to mention the affordable price tag of S$12.

"Zombie Spiderman"

Was originally thinking of getting the "Zombie Colonel America" but I have too many figures of "Captain America". Have never wanted to own "Spiderman" figures because that's too cliched but why not a zombie version? Its unique enough with the awesome detachable limb. Going to miss my display space on the old TV when the new LCD TV arrives.

HMV was having a sale and I bought this cool T with the "Fantastic Four" logo :p

"Icicle"

Wow... I've never heard of this figure before but like "Mr. Freeze"... I like characters inspired by ice. This is an exclusive figure so I wonder if I ever will get a chance to see this item... let alone buy it.
