"Blackest Night: Batman"

I am astonished that this "Batman" was a peg warmer in "Toy Realm" for almost a month. I expected the stock of this fig to be barren from being ripped off the shelves.

This fig wasn't on my wish-list but its a nice addition to my "Blackest Night" collection.

"Green Lantern" ring

Chanced across this gorgeous ring and had to have it even though it is too big for me. Freaking awesome!!! Too bad I can't wear it but it is still nice to display.

New arrivals

Borders was having a sale and I was able to finally use their promotional vouchers to grab a few graphic novels. I'm greedy because I have a backlog of novels that I have yet to finish. 30% off was too good an offer to refuse. I procured "Arkham Asylum" because the storyline sounded intriguing and features key villains from the "Batman" realm. The cover of "Uncanny X-Men: Lovelorn" enticed me to get it.

A pity that the Parkway branch ran out of "Daredevil" novels. I was actually very keen on getting one.

"Wildcat"

I first knew about this character from watching the "Batman: The Brave and Bold" series on "Cartoon Network" whilst holidaying in Bintan earlier this year. He is one of "Batman's" mentors. This fig is the variant of the wave and this version is in a purple suit instead of his trademark black. I love his bandaged fists that highlights his boxing background.

"X2: Nightcrawler"

I recall watching the movie “X-Men 2” in the cinema and being blown away by the version of “Nightcrawler” portrayed in the film. It was a dream come true when I stumbled across this fig on eBay and I knew I had to have him.
The movie version is stockier and has cool tattoos compared to the comic book version. He is not in his classic black, white and red colours but I love his leather jacket and candy striped pants. There are stains on this fig but I'm still happy to own him.
