Black vs Orange

Snapped up the "Black Lantern Hal Jordan" and "Orange Lantern Lex Luthor" today at CSC. The "Hal" fig has an excellent sculpt and expression. The orange body of "Lex" is vibrant but the only grouse I have is the extremely loose upper torso joint.
Awesome figs to join my "Green Lantern" collection.

"Justice: Scarecrow"

This is the most realistic "Scarecrow" so far. This fig is superior to the "DC Superheroes" version which was too skinny for my liking.
A pity that he did not come with accessories but the noose around his neck is cool.

"DCUC: Penguin"

"Penguin" has been a figure that eluded me for a long time because this "DC Universe Classics" fig was released before I started passionately collecting figs.
Despite a bent accessory, he is still a cool fig to join my "Batman Rogues Gallery".

"Secret Files: Poison Ivy"

"Poison Ivy" is a seductive "Batman" villain that I had wanted all this time but most figures of her have been disastrous. The "Secret Files" version of her is possibly the only one so far that has done her justice. She is not easy to find but I am excited for her to join my "Rogues Gallery". She didn't come with the original base but I managed to pose her on my spare "DC Direct" stand.

"Infinite Crisis: Batman" reloaded

I was miffed that the hand of my "Infinite Crisis: Batman" broke off and had a broken peg stuck in his boot. I secured a replacement from the same seller. I have ecstatic to report he can be posed with the "Infinite Crisis" base with no defects.
He arrived with a posse of "Batman" villains. Details on "Poison Ivy", "Penguin" and "Scarecrow".

"C&Cs"

I blew my profit from selling my "Tintin" limited edition watch on these 2 bad boys. "Mr K." was kind enough to assist in shipping them over from the States and it arrived slightly out of shape but no harm done.
I posed the massive "Kilowog" together with "Sodam Yat", "B'dg" and "Dex-Starr". I'm still kicking myself because I didn't grab "Kilowog" when I saw it going for only S$65 at "Toy Outpost". I can be a moron sometimes. "Gorilla Grodd" is not visually appealing as he is totally gray in colour but I like the mind control equipment sculpted onto his head and arms.
What can I say? 2 awesome "C&C" figures.

"Green Arrow"

I got both the "DC Superheroes: Batman" and this fig at a discounted price.
I wanted to let "Dr Giggles" have this fig but he is unsure if he already has it. I'm safekeeping it for him for the moment until he confirms.

"DC Superheroes: Batman"

Love the details on this fig. The fig is so detailed that his boots have grooves on them and there is texture to the paint job applied. His utility belt is different from those sculpted on the current batch of "Batman" figs. Awesome!!!
My only complaint would be that he does not scale well with the rogues with a few characters towering over him.

"Brainiac"

I've heard of this "Superman" villain before and seen glimpses of him in the "Smallville" TV series. I have yet to see this villain in comic books but I decided to grab this "DC Superheroes" series fig because it has nice details and was going for a steal.
I am still hunting for a definitive "Superman" to add to my collection.

"Man-Bat"

I have been wanting this fig forever!!! "Dr Giggles" was kind enough to give this fig to me because we ordered this fig from the same seller but only his arrived months ago. I will do my best to find a replacement for him.
This is an awesome new member to my "Batman Rogues Gallery". Keenly awaiting the arrival of "Poison Ivy", "Penguin" and "Scarecrow". I will update this gallery when I pose them together with the rest of the villains.

"Cover Girls of the DC Universe: Catwoman"

Been wanting to add this statue to my collection for a long time. I finally got it today even though there were scratches on the base. I decided to take it because of the lowered price and it was the last piece.
It compliments the figure I have of the same character. If only I had my own apartment so that I could display my whole collection in a glass cabinet.

"Marvel Universe: Cyclops"

I've been wanting a 6" "Jim Lee" style "Cyclops" for the longest time. I ended up getting the "Marvel Universe" version while the hunt continues. Gotta love the sculpting of his left hand to facilitate posing him with his fingers pressing the side of his visor. This fig compliments my "Apocalypse" very well.
A pity the movie "X-Men: First Class" does not stay true to the comic series.

"Nightwing"

I finally got my hands on a “Nightwing” in his original colours instead of the awful variant. I love his clean look with the blue stripes across his arms and chest. I wish that this figure had included “Wing-dings” but he did come with his trademark “Escrima sticks”
My gripe about this figure is that the “Escrima sticks” are very loose in his hands and when holstered. A bit disappointing in this aspect as it would have been nice to pose this fig holding both weapons but I resolved that by utilising the transparent bands that came with the fig to keep the sticks in place.

"Marvel Universe: Apocalypse"

I have never been a fan of the 3.75" line of "Marvel" figs but I have had made exceptions in the past with the greyscale "Captain America" and the "Comic-Con" 2010 exclusive "Cap".
The sculpt and bulk of this fig enticed me to get him. I will definitely secure the larger version of this fig when it is out.

"Justice: Batgirl"

Sold my "Invaders" box set and decided to splash my spare $ for this "Batgirl".
Rare fig and nice sculpt. A bit pricey but worth it and it's staying in the box.

"Marvel Legends: Valkyrie & Hulk"

It's been a dry few months for my collection in terms of new "Marvel" additions but I chanced upon this 2 pack today at "Toys"R"Us" that slipped through my net previously. It is ironic that my prior 2 box sets were not from the said store.
I admit that I know nuts about "Valkyrie". The appeal to secure this box set was the "Hulk". My complaints regarding this specific "Hulk" is the mop that supposed to be his hair and the dimple on his chin. However, his bulk as well as body sculpt is impressive.

"The Joker"

I have "The Joker" in my collection MISB but this is my first loose one that I own. This version is different from the "DC Universe Classics" series as he wears a trench-coat. I'm looking forward to posing him with my other "Batman" rogues.

"White Lantern: Hal Jordan"

I have several "Hal Jordans" in my collection but the price of this fig prompted me to part with my money. This "White Lantern" version is different from prior versions in that he wears a grimace on his face.
The market is flooded with "Green Lantern" universe merchandise in anticipation of the upcoming movie. It's a pity the movie version action figures are not very attractive. I may consider buying the prop ring. Vincent is going to let me have a preview before I make up my mind.

"Sodam Yat"

"Sodam Yat" is no stranger to me having seen him battle "Superboy-Prime" in the comics. His hairstyle resembles mine and his uniform is different from other "Green Lanterns".
I love the projected "Green Lantern" symbol on the fig. My only complaint is that one eyebrow and parts of his hair wasn't painted properly. I may need to get a fine marker to perform cosmetic surgery on him.

"B'dg" and "Dex-Starr"

More gems today!!! I picked up these 2 characters from the "Green Lantern" storyline.
I already owned a "Dex-Starr" that came with "Mera" but after watching the review of that "Blackest Night" set, I decided to get him together with "B'dg". 2 very awesome figs and cute too. "B'dg" wears his power ring on his right paw while "Dex-Starr" has his on his tail.

"The Flash" from "JSA: The Liberty Files"

This is one cool fig that I've seen before but was retailing at an exorbitant price. Today I chanced upon it again at a different shop and grabbed with it with hands.
I've mentioned this countless times... I love alternate universes. I will definitely try to read "JSA: The Liberty Files" if I have the chance to.
