"Alter ego: Matt Murdock/Daredevil"

Secret identities are the norm amongst heroes and villains. Decided to feature my fav "Marvel" hero "Matt Murdock" and his alter ego "Daredevil".

"The fallen"

Was inspired by "Billy Mahoney" to create this display. I recall him posting about the death of "Nightcrawler" and his friendship with "Logan". That story arc reminded me how fragile life is and how death affects people around you.

"B-side" version with them switching roles.

"Frost Giants"

Had this "Minimate" for awhile but didn't do a display with it till today. Inspired with recent displays on the A.C.B.A. group that use "cut-outs" as the "backdrop" so I used a "wallpaper" to create this "illusion" of a horde of "Frost Giants".

"Witnesses"

A "Batman" display without the "hero" in it. Just having fun with "Gordon" and a "policeman".

 Subtle... just the way I like it.

"Breaking news"

Can't recall how I got this idea but I based my display on my visits to "NBC Studios" in "New York City".

"Captive"

Haven't been posing and posting the past few days. Had a "pep" talk from "Billy" that triggered this display.

Nothing like a "goons" pic. Wish I had a "comic book" accurate "Gordon" but all I have is the "Gary Oldman" movie version.
Decided to add a "B-side" with "Bats" appearing.

"Mindless" challenged me to have more dynamic poses and I came up with this.

"Reach"

"Avis" alerted me to the availability of the "grocery" props. Popped by "Bedok Mall" to get them on the way home.
It was inevitable that I had to create this display.

"Mission statement"

The "diorama" from "Mark" finally arrived... giving me the opportunity to create this display. The details on the "dio" are amazing. I am so grateful to him for offering it to me.

"Tibbar raeppa"

Bought a pair of "rabbits" from "Tomy" as an experiment. Turns out that the heads are removable after all as they are on "ball joints". That allowed me to do this display with "Zatanna".

"Vigilante"

The "Azbats" figure is awesome. I definitely need to use it more often.

My "mojo" is back!!! I did a "B-side".

"Talk"

Can't do enough pictures of this "Fury" made by "Billy". The "cigar" was also made by him.

Got a new bulb so the lighting is different from what I normally use.

"Danboard Mini"

Helped KS to assemble his "Danboard Mini". I also painted the "coin slot" and "light switch" for him.
I left it on my bedside table to dry off with my "Stormtrooper" clock and "Explorers on the Moon" mini "rocket" in the background.

"Coffee"

Wanted to do this pic for a long time and I finally did it. My colleague was with me when I set this up and she felt very uncomfortable with the stares from strangers. I was oblivious to them as I was engrossed with setting this up.

Not the usual "contained" pic with a proper backdrop but it was fun to do.

"Daddy!!! Look!!!"

Got this "toy dispenser" from CSC yesterday. Finally got down to doing this "Yotsuba" display. There was never a fig made of her "Dad" so I used an "Angel" fig.

"Loaded"

Collected my "Jigsaw" variant from "Mindless" via "Vic" today and got this handmade "cabinet" from CSC for S$5 whilst meeting him there.
It was a "no-brainer" to do this display.

"Kryptonite"

Inherited these "cut-outs" from "Mindless" and I had to do this scene.

"Lex Luthor" was the obvious candidate with this theme.

"Weapon XI"

Had "cut-outs" meant for "Deadpool" and wanted to do a display featuring him.

Added the "towel" prop from "Ena".

"Quick!"

Finally grabbed the "Ena" statue from the hobby shop at "Century Square". It was initially daunting to get the plastic wrapping off the statue and I will likely leave it as it is.

Since "Yotsuba" has no clue it is "Miura" inside a robot suit, I decided to leave her out of this pic.

"Cats"

Not the "Broadway" musical but a "Cosbaby" version of "Catwoman" with a few cats.

The last purchase of 2013 but the first feature of 2014.

"What's in store for 2014?"

Goodbye 2013. Eventful year and I wonder what 2014 has in store for me?
