Backlog

Have a backlog of graphic novels, magazines and comics to read. Got these but have yet to finish reading them.

"Bill Russell"

The greatest NBA center of all time... winning 11 championships. He was renown for his rebounding and blocks. Modern players are all about flashiness but he was an efficient shot-blocker who would divert opposing players' shots to his teammates or to himself. A true legend.

"Ultimate Captain America"

"Captain America" in his World War II uniform with his signature badge shaped shield. It came with a spare unmasked Steve Rogers' head and pistol. A winner if you ask me and I didn't hesitate to buy him.

Marvel has characters that give DC a run for their money but DC has the edge when it comes to producing attractive toys.

"Zatanna"

I rarely like female Comic book characters with the exception of "Wonder Woman" and "Zatanna". I first stumbled across "Zatanna" in a scene between "Superman" and her in a graphic novel. She is included in the "DC Universe Classics" wave 14 and I have already made my pre-release reservation to get her figure. I'm also contemplating parting with my $ to get her statue.

I wish...

I love Singapore but I sometimes wish I lived in the US. It is hard to get figures I like here at times and I wouldn't need to pay exorbitant prices for international shipping. Besides the Batman Beyond unmasked variant, I have a wish-list that includes the "Joker" from "DC Universe Classics" wave 10 and the key figures from the graphic novel "Kingdom Come".

Unmasked variant revealing the face of "Terry McGinnis" from the "DC Universe Classics" wave 4. This is one past figure I wish I had.

"The Spectre"

I've known about "The Spectre" from reading "Kingdom Come" but wasn't a fan of this character. I had to get him after reading that there was a "glow-in-the dark" variant of this figure.

Guess what? I got it!

"The Question"

This hero is one cool dude. Faceless... sharp suit... long coat... Fedora hat. Winning combo for me.
I couldn't resist buying him immediately but couldn't bear to take him out of the packaging though.

"The Man Without Fear"

I want to live my life like the "Daredevil". I will do away with all fear and live life with direction. I bought this freaking cool action figure as a reminder. The cross was an added incentive to buy it.

"Captain America"

Bought this special edition "Captain America" action figure yesterday. The "ice" packaging and greyscale colour enticed me to part with my $.

I decided to head back to the toy store today to get "Red Skull"* to pair it with my earlier purchase. Ended up getting the "Invaders" box set instead.
