"Suicide"

Finally secured the TRU "Hulk"!!! Was a fool to sell it in the first place. Lesson learnt.
Put together a quick display featuring "Deadpool" attacking "Hulk" with a "Bazooka". The "Bazooka" is damaged but I managed to obfuscate that with the smoke "cut-out". I like the final result.

"New 52: Darkseid"

Haven't read the "New 52" yet but decided to splash the cash on this deluxe figure after seeing the protoype of the DCUC version. That sculpt of that version was horrible and it triggered me into action. I swiftly reserved this fig and after much delay collecting due to the monsoon season... he is finally in my display.
Nothing much to say about the packaging but this figure is massive at 13". He is even bigger than most DCUC C&Cs. Never had the chance to read the "New Gods" storyline but I know enough to put together this display with "Orion" and "Mister Miracle".

"Constantine"

I seriously love this figure. Simple figure really but I can't put my finger on why I love it so much.
Decided to do a street scene with him reading a 1:12 newspaper that I made myself.

"Supernatural"

Assembled a team of DC characters from the supernatural realm.
Had "Raven" in my collection but I didn't feel she fit into the feel of this display.

"Reed Richards"

Purchased a "Mr Fantastic" from the trading group as I had sold my entire "Fantastic Four" set previously and needed a regular "Reed" to compliment the stretchy version. Jokers at USPS sent my parcel to "Thailand".
Did a simple display to practice my placement of cut-outs. I like the face on this fig better than the 2 pack one.

"Man at work"

My "bird" got me the 2 trays of food props for my birthday. I threw in the "Chinese takeaway" to complete the display. Just for laughs.

"Lego: Hal Jordan"

Got this "Lego" version of "Hal" for my birthday from my beloved sis. She put her heart into assembling it before presenting it to me on Sunday.
Pretty cool articulation on this guy.

"Hitman: Absolution"

"Play Arts" entered the market selling "Arkham Asylum" characters but have since expanded their offering outside of that series.
I was looking forward to this figure ever since I was informed by "Vincent" that it was available as a pre-order item. I keenly awaited his news since I placed my deposit and this fig arrived in a timely manner just days before my birthday.
This is my favourite gaming character of all-time. I had to get this fig even though I already own the "Neca" version which is limited in articulation but renown for its accessories. I will likely buy the game even though I am no longer on "Windows".

"Kingdom Come"

Still on the "DCember" theme for this month. Decided to do a group display with the few loose "Kingdom Come" figures that I have.
I still can't bear to take out the mint "Hawkman" as well as the "Spectre & Norman McCay" set.

"Attack on Blüdhaven"

My interpretation of the attack launched by "Chemo" on "Blüdhaven" during "Infinite Crisis".
Here I have "Nightwing" confronting the monster in an effort to save his hometown. My favourite C&C figure besides "Giganta".

"Marvel Select: Black Cat"

Finally decided to "splash" the "dough" on this "Select" set and didn't regret it.
The props and accessories that were included with this fig are amazing. The backdrop has 2 sides that doubles as the brick facade of a building on one side and the interior wall of a room on the other. The safe opens to reveal compartments inside to store the stacks of cash, diamond necklace, folder and pearl necklace. The "Black Cat" fig is detailed and comic book accurate as expected but the articulation leaves a lot to be desired. It is slightly out of scale with "Legends" figures. Love this character and I'm dying for a "Legends" release of her.

These props beat the "Dr Doom" throne hands down because there are so many more displays that I can create with them. Having fun with the backdrop.

"Robotman"

My "Doom Patrol" is growing slowly but surely. "Robotman" arrived in the mail today and here I have him posed playing his "Nanny" role by instructing "Rita" to make a run for it whilst capturing "Larry" as his energy form leaves his host body.
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of "Elasti-Girl".

"Soundwave"

Decided to get this mini "Soundwave" that can actually transform from the "Cassette Player" disguise to its robot mode.
It is not exactly 1:12 scale but here it fits the display because of the angle that I took the picture.

"Hand Ninjas"

Decided it was time to get "Hand Ninjas" and here we are. Very cool figures but my complaints about the fig are that the upper torso is sculpted to one side and the fists are closed making it impossible to hold accessories that are wider than the gaps in the fists.
Have a display in mind but it is late. I will postpone it for another day.

"Face-off: Unmasked Captain America"

A fig that was on my wanted list until I secured him together with "Giganta". Decided to redo my frozen "Cap" display.
The fig arrived caked in dust so I had to take effort to wash off the grime. The shield that came with this fig is the perfect size instead of the tiny one that "Hasbro" is including with the ROML figs. He is broad shouldered and it was not easy to squeeze him into the "Cryotube"... it was like stuffing a "Turkey".

"Giganta"

A C&C fig that I've been dying to own for the longest time. I had the leg that came with "Mr Terrific" but never successfully got the rest of "Giganta". Now I finally have her complete and near flawless sans a minor scuff on her foot.
Posed her with "Fin Fang Foom" to give a feel of her size. Very detailed fig especially on the head, bracelets, anklets and attire. Worth every cent and I'm keen on more displays featuring her.

"Superman Vs Brainiac"

My entry for "Mindless's" subs contest. This is a scene from "Superman Vs Brainiac" with my own interpretation and props.
I made the futuristic "tablet" that "Superman" is holding onto.

"Locker"

WWE prop that I picked up today at CSC. Detailed locker with a fake mirror in it but I wished it were wider.
Couldn't think of anyone else to pose with the prop except for "Deadpool". Hmmmm... maybe I should do a display with "Zatanna" emerging from the locker?

"DC Universe Infinite Heroes: Batman Gotham Knight"

Got the "Deadshot" fig loose from the 3 pack. Had a chance to grab the "Scarecrow" from the same series but missed out on it. It's alright because this is meant for a future "Batman" display.
I like this version of "Deadshot" versus the comic book look.

"Vic Sage"

"Vic Sage" is "Hub City's" own vigilante protector. He dons a faceless mask made of "Pseudoderm" to disguise his true identity as an investigative reporter. He uses his detective and martial arts skills to combat crime.
Would have loved to pose him with "Nunchucks" but I had to settle for a "Katanna" instead.

"Azrael Vs Wildcat"

Have not done any displays with either of these figs so it was time to do so. Decided to have them face off against each other.
The 2 figs are a stark contrast with "Azrael" owning a heavily detailed torso and arms with "Wildcat" having more subtle details.

"Negative Man"

A fig that I had to get because I decided to build my own "Doom Patrol". Can't wait for "Robotman" and "Elasti-Girl" to arrive!
The detailing of the bandaged head and fists is very cool. Reminds me of "The Elephant Man".
Here I have the fig posed as if he is falling down because he has projected his energy form out of his host body. I need a "cut-out" of his energy form to compliment this display.

S.H.I.E.L.D. agents

Was pleasantly surprised when I received the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. I was expecting 2 S.H.I.E.L.D. agent bodies with generic heads but I received 2 generic heads together with the heads of "Dum Dum Dugan" and "Nick Fury"!!!
Not only that... the seller threw in a bunch of weapons including a "Bazooka". Definitely one of the best deals that I have ever made.
I've always wanted to do this display with the agents as escorts.

"Peter Parker Vs Norman Osborn"

Huge haul with amazing figs. I decided to create this display where "The Watcher" is witnessing a confrontation between "Spider-Man" and "The Green Goblin" where they reveal their secret identities to each other.
The "Secret Identity Spider-Man" fig is really dope. The unmasked "Green Goblin" is cool too. I am planning to have it converted into a custom so that I can have a suited "Norman" and an "Iron Patriot" figure.
"The Watcher" was surprisingly smaller than expected. I was expecting the fig to be much larger.

"Creeper"

An obscure character that I had never seen until he was engaged to watch over "Tommy Elliot" who had plastic surgery to impersonate the missing "Bruce Wayne" and prevent "Tommy" from creating havoc.
This is my interpretation of that plot. Very detailed fig but top heavy due to the cape.

"The Question"

A fig that I already owned MISB but decided to get loose anyways. He is an underrated character and figure.
I wish they had used him more before killing him off but "Renee Montoya" is an apt replacement though. I would love to get the female "Question" fig if it was ever released.
I used the "Fred" fig from the "Angel" series as a client.

"X-Force Deadpool"

A fig that "Rick" forgot to send me previously. Better late than never... I always say.
Subtle differences from the "X-Men" blue/yellow version but still cool. I can't imagine that they originally conceptualised "Deadpool" as a silent assassin. I love it that he is insane in the membrane but he is not everybody's cup of tea.
This fig may convince me to finally crack open my 2 pack.
I revised my display due to feedback about my "cut-out" from the A.C.B.A. community. I replaced one "Katanna" with a laughing fish prop.
