"Lara Croft: Snow Day" secured

Anti-climatic but this is the best I can do because I have no place to display the statue. Apologies!!! "Lara" will not make an appearance until I buy my own apartment and build a glass cabinet.
Thanks to "Dr Giggles" for fetching "Lara" home.

"Infinite Crisis: Batman"

This is my latest holy grail. I'm fascinated by the battle damaged suit and his grimace.

"Hawkgirl"

"Hawkgirl" is one half of "DC's" tragic couple. "Hawkgirl" and "Hawkman" are destined to be reunited, murdered and reincarnated for eternity.
I had procured "Hawkman" from eBay previously but chanced upon this pair at CSC this afternoon for a reasonable price. I decided to secure the set since "Dr Giggles" didn't own a "Hawkman". I beat another chap to "Hawkgirl" and he actually cursed out loud when he found out I had grabbed the only available piece on the cheap.
I love my female characters but my gripe about them is the fact that they have issues standing on their own because of their slender frame.

"Kingdom Come: Hawkman"

"Carter Hall" is a reincarnated Egyptian prince. I love this Egyptian inspired "Hawk-God" form featured in "Kingdom Come" and was my latest holy grail until I decided to fork out $ to secure it.
Beautiful. A great compliment to my classic "Hawkman".

Custom "Gambit"

My lengthy search for "Gambit" is finally over. I wanted a stock "Gambit" but successfully won this custom version in an eBay auction. This version has him wearing the classic "X-Men" uniform with his trademark trenchcoat.

"Mad Hatter"

After a prolific August, it has been a relatively quiet September. I secured this rare fig on my weekly pilgrimage to CSC. I've only seen it on toy review blogs before today and I knew I had to have him.
A rare and worthy addition to my "Batman's Rogues Gallery" collection. I can't bear to take him out of the box.

"Kalibak"

After hunting high and low for a full week, I painstakingly completed my first C&C figure. Special thanks to "Dr Giggles" who agreed to take the "Shazam" fig so that I could secure "Kalibak's" left leg.

"Daredevil" Comiquette

I immediately fell in love with this statue when I first laid eyes on the preview photos. "Daredevil" is easily one of my favourite comic book heroes.
I have already placed my deposit with "Simply Toys". ETA January 2011... stay tuned!!!

"Killer Moth"

Initially found this "Batman" villain lame and cheesy because of his candy stripe suit. I started to change my mind after researching this character. Due to the use of transparent rubber bands to secure the figure inside the packaging, the figure's right hand was a bit bent when taken out but the fig was either wise in pretty good condition with minor stains.
"Kalibak" is the C&C of this wave. I also own the "Hawkman" figure from this series and I had previously sold the "Kalibak" arm to "Toy Realm". This left me in a predicament as a result because "Killer Moth" came with the body of "Kalibak". I sheepishly bought back the arm that I sold "Toy Realm" at an inflated price together with the other arm and the right leg. I'm short of the left leg. Hmmmmm.

"Daredevil" wallpaper

I'm a big fan of the "Daredevil" and was ecstatic to come across this cool comic book cover. I decided to use it as my wallpaper.

Updated wallpaper

Decided to use the picture of my "Booster Gold" figure to cheer up my desktop.

"Blue Beetle"

"Jaime Reyes" is the modern "Blue Beetle". I prefer his suit over the version worn by his predecessor but I removed his wings as it made him look like a fairy. I had him posed next to his predecessor's best buddy, "Booster Gold".
