"Red Son: Hal Jordan"

Have this MISB in my collection too but I had the opportunity to get him loose at a good price. As with "DC Direct" figs, you get comic book accuracy and details. Love this fig!!!

"Loki"

"Toybiz" version of "Loki". Have to say that I am very disappointed with this figure. He came missing his sword accessory which is a minor issue. His cape is badly designed and one of the pegs securing the cape was broken. His legs are loose too and he cannot stand properly.
Can't believe I'm saying this but for once... "Hasbro" has done a better job on a character. This guy is going on "eBay".

"Wonder Man"

Had this guy MISB but decided to keep him in that state because I got him at a cheap price. Sourced for a loose piece and finally got him. I will incorporate him in an "Avengers" display soon.
He is missing the "Yellowjacket" accessory but that's fine.

"Bucky Cap"

Not a fan of this incarnation of "Cap" but relented because of rave reviews about this fig and the price I got him. Well articulated with the trademark "Cap" shield, pistol and dagger. Nice utility belt too. Good paint app too.

"Zatanna"

My favourite female DC character. She was a "Walmart" exclusive and thus was nearly impossible to get locally at a decent price. I'm glad that I secured her through a trade.
Nice accessories with the top hat and magic wand. Wished that the top hat was better designed to sit on her head snugly and be held securely in her hand.

"Supes"

Received the black suited "Supes" and the "Eradicator". 2 very nice figures.
Finally have a DCUC version of "Kal-El" and keenly awaiting the arrival of my classic "Supes". Wished that the visor spotted by the "Eradicator" was not sculpted on the face but had been removable. The visor would have been an awesome accessory.

"Gentleman Ghost"

A rare fig that I have been hunting down forever and he is mine now.
A number of China sellers have him for sale but incomplete and I got him from "Rick Valdez" complete with his staff and pistol. Very cool fig with translucent parts.
He will join my "Hawks" in my display.

"Deathstroke"

The 2nd fig from "Uncle Jaxx". Rare DCUC fig in the sense that it comes with a truckload of accessories. He came complete with the original rifle, pistol, sword and staff.

"Beast"

Was feeling a little low today but I got a boost when I discovered 4 packages in my mailbox. One of them was a bundle from "Uncle Jaxx" that included this "Beast" fig and the DCUC "Deathstroke".
I love the detail on the fig and the cat-like face but my only gripe is that the head is perpetually facing down and can't look up. This is my definitive "Beast" besides the "Toybiz" classic version.

"United Nations"

Along with "Mystique" came "Union Jack" as well as a "Minimates Cap". Dreamt up this display of heroes from different nations that I call "United Nations". The "Union Jack" fig is awesome. It reminds me of a serious "Deadpool" with a similar mask and body mould. It comes with a small dagger and pistol. Worth hunting down in my opinion.
"Deadpool" can also be a standalone display that I entitled "Work hard... play harder...".

"Mystique"

Collected a package today. New addition to my "Brotherhood of Mutants" display with the arrival of "Mystique". Not the best female fig but definitely not as bad as "Spider-Woman" and "Scarlett Witch". My "Brotherhood" is slowly but surely growing.

"Captain Boomerang"

Another fig with uneven legs. "Mattel" should really improve their quality control. This and the paint issues some figs have are reasons that resulted in poor sales of DCUC figs.
He came without his boomerang accessory. I think he would be popular for custom fodder with his jacket and headgear.
This batch makes me want to focus on "Marvel Legends" figs and forget the DCUC line.

"Captain Marvel"

The figure has a nice cape but the cape hinders the movement of his left arm. The legs are not of the same length and makes posing the figure standing challenging.
Intriguing character though.

"Worst Marvel Legends figure of all time"

It is official. The "Spider-Woman" figure no longer holds this title. It has officially been taken over by the "Scarlett Witch".
The fig has horribly warped legs and tiny feet. Research confirmed that the warped legs is a common phenomenon and is not the seller's fault. I will just have her posed behind her brother, "Quicksilver", to hide her legs.

"Battle of the minds"

A.C.B.A. display that I conceptualised to depict a battle waged between the minds of "Prof X." and the entity "Onslaught".
The B&W effect adds drama to this scene versus the prior one I did.

"Toyman"

Owned an MISB "Toyman" already but decided to get a loose one for an A.C.B.A. display.
I'm trying to depict "Toyman" proclaiming "This is my genius master plan... to populate the world with an army of myself to take over... Muahahaha!!!". Waiting for my DCUC "Supes" to arrive and will do more displays soon.

"Jason Todd" tribute

Commissioned this custom and it took awhile to get to me. I was initially disappointed with the final product but changed my stance after tinkering with it for this display.
This is a sneak preview of my submission for "Bill Mahoney's" 100 subs contest.

"Baron Zemo"

Saw this character for the first time in a "Thunderbolts" novel. Decided to get this fig from "Hector" together with the other 3 acquisitions. Added him to my existing A.C.B.A. display with "Red Skull" and "Arnim".

"Yellowjacket"

Never fancied the "Hank Pim" character but he is a key member of "The Avengers". Prefer his "Yellowjacket" persona versus the "Ant-Man" identity so I got the fig to compliment "The Wasp".

"Professor X"

A central figure to the "X-Men" cast and a figure that I have been hunting for what seems like forever.
He came complete with his trademark wheelchair and "Cerebro" accessory. I decided to pose him facing off with "Onslaught".

"Iron Spider-Man"

Been wanting an "Iron Spidey" ever since I read one of the books from the "Civil War" storyline. I recall a scene where "Peter Parker" wore this new suit and he was hanging off a wall.
Will definitely try to replicate that scene when I have the time and space in my display.

"Dark Wolverine"

Secured this fig by accident. I was talking to "Martin" from "Toy Realm" and the conversation led to the discovery regarding the availability of the masked "Daken".
After discussion and negotiation with the mystery seller through "Martin", I managed to get the price lowered by giving up the "Arnim" arm.
The rarity of this fig definitely contributes heavily to the mystique and aura. The only difference between the variants is purely only the head but it somehow makes a world of difference.
I'm so stoked to have this in my collection. It is a steal at US$33 considering that someone won it in an "eBay" auction for US$600+.

"Arkham City Wave 2"

Found out that wave 2 was available at "Simply Toys" from their website. Headed down as soon as they were open today and they were there waiting for me. There were 2 of each character so I chose the ones I wanted and made payment.

Calmly waited for the end of the workday and went back to "Simply Toys" to claim my prizes before heading to "Toy Realm" to collect another gem... the masked "Daken"!!!
I've never owned a "Hush" fig as this character was only released once previously from the "Hush" storyline and is impossible to get. I own a "Mad Hatter" fig from "The Long Halloween" series but decided to secure this fig also as it is more realistic in appearance versus the cartoony "Long Halloween" version.

"Arkham City: Harley Quinn"

Never been able to secure a "DC Universe Classics" version of this character. Was intrigued by this Gothic biker chick styled variation and decided to add her to my "Batman Rogues Gallery". Besides the updated look, I like the bat accessory too.

"Brightest Day: Deadman" unleashed

Decided to unleash this fig that was originally MISB to pose with my "DC Universe Classics" version. The fig came with 2 heads and the masked head was easy to remove except for the fact that the peg was stuck in it.
Had difficult removing the peg but I finally managed that using a "Twistie" secured at the bottom of the peg. I love the contrast between the unmasked "DC Direct" version versus the masked "DC Universe Classics" version.
My only complaints about the fig are the scratched base which is strange considering it was mint inside packaging and the difficult to remove peg.

"Arnim Zola"

This is one character I have seen in the comics and I recall that he was in the "The Death of Captain America" novel.
Paid a bit more than I would have liked but he came with 2 heads and 2 gadgets. I wasn't sure which head to pick so I opted for the one with the red eye.
Pleased to get this fig but I still miss the epic "Toybiz" BAFs.
This display I dreamt up depicts "Arnim" seemingly conversing with "Red Skull". I imagine "Arnim" saying "With a push of this button, chaos will reign over the world and it will be yours to control...".
