"Mighty Wallet"

This was a novelty wallet that I bought in NYC last August but didn't open till yesterday.
It is very cool as it is made of paper and has the awesome "Venom" design on it.
I finally decided to use it because my prior wallet was in bad shape.

"Spider-Men"

Continuation of my "team-up" theme. Saw the 2 "Spideys" on a cover of a comic at "Invasion" today. Decided to do my version of that cover art.
Overheard 2 "Geeks" talking about the "Superior Spider-Man" and it kind of spoiled the surprise for me as I have yet to read that storyline. I won't repeat what was spilled here.

"Stay"

Was inspired by BD and "Mindless" to create this display. I took elements from their pictures to arrive at this.
"Daredevil" and "Punisher" have teamed up before in the comics and I remember "Frank" helping "Matt" escape from prison in one story arc.
I think I will do more "team-up" displays in April.

"Politics"

Spoiler alert!!!
In "New Krypton", "General Zod" is "Kal-El's" superior. Here I depict the power struggle that goes on between the 2 characters.
"DC Direct" really has comic accuracy spot on.

"Rogues"

Creating this display was painful. It took me 2 hours to achieve this result.
I originally wanted "Man-Bat", "Black Mask" and "Azrael" inside the scene but I had to take them out. Besides switching figs around, I also changed the backdrop twice.

"Magnetism"

I seldom do "X-Men" displays but decided to pose "Magneto" battling "Gambit". It was a pain to get the 2 oil drums to stay in place but I'm happy with the final result to demonstrate "Magneto" attacking "Gambit".

"Fighting JC"

I've known about "threeA" toys from my toy hunting trips but never really paid much attention to them except for the occasional glance at the details on some of them.
It recently came to my attention that they actually made figs of "Jesus Christ" from a story entitled "Fighting JC".
I was enthralled and am keen to get the version with the black boxing robe.

"Apocalypse"

"Mindless" passed me "Steppenwolf" today when we met up for dinner. It was a no brainer that I had to do this display. Will update this when I receive "Desaad" from "Jaxx".
I think I will get one more "Parademon".

"Locker"

Was racking my brain thinking of a display to do with my new "Wolverine" figure. I got it loose from "Toy Realm" today. It is the unmasked "Toybiz" version and I modified it by cutting off the claws on his hands.

"Lovers"

Finally got down to doing a display with the custom "Hood" that I got from "Fernando".
Been wanting to get this character since I saw him in a few storylines. Not a prominent character but cool nonetheless. This gave me a chance to use the "Madame Masque" fig too as there are lovers in the comics.

"Mentor"

Cool character who is more famously known as a founding member of the JSA. Not a lot of people know that "Wildcat" was one of "Bruce's" mentors on his path to becoming the "Batman".
This display is meant as an encouragement for "Mindless" as he embarks on the next stage of his life.

"Boss"

I got this "Riddler" fig from a trade. "Mattel" does an amazing job with the DC figs even though they tend to reuse a lot of parts. There's something about the paint job and minor details that keeps these figs interesting. Very happy to add this character to my "Batman Rogues Gallery".
Like this "Jumpsuit" version better than the one with the "Bowler Hat".

"Demons"

Received all 3 armours from the first wave of "Iron Man" series. Was racking my brain on what pics to take of them and decided on doing this display by playing on the fact that "Tony" is an infamous drunkard.
The "Iron Patriot" armour might be a bit out of place here but I felt that there was no need to do another "Dark Avengers" display.

"B-Side: Booster Gold"

Recently... I have been obsessed with "B-Side" displays. I think it's cool to create different displays with shared elements.
Decided to pose the modern "Booster" with the same backdrop and "cut-outs" I used for the classic "Booster" pic.
There's a unique feel to both scenes with different suits, "Skeets" and poses.

"The greatest Superhero history will never know..."

Fav DC character... "Booster Gold"!!! Finally got down to posing the classic "Booster" where he spots a collared suit. I'm still missing "Skeets" so I opted to use the one that came with the "DC Direct" fig.

"New 52: Hawkman"

The "New 52" version of this character looks even more savage than before. I was eager to secure this fig but at the same time worried that the actual product would be disappointing.
My fears were unfounded as the fig is impressive. The wings are recycled from the earlier releases of "Hawkman" but repainted. There are new details added to this fig that differentiates it from the other figs of this character.
"Mattel" has restored some faith back into me.

"Stealth Iron Man"

Got this fig mainly because of the spare "Tony Stark" head but it is ironic as I ended up getting the custom "Extremis" resulting in an extra "Tony" head. This is still a nice armour though so I will keep it even though I've never seen it in the comics.
Guess I should mod the "Harvey Dent" body so that I can have "Tony" in a suit.

"Vanquish"

Love the "Ares" character and figure. Imposing and captivating character who switches between good and evil.
Finally got down to posing him and I was inspired by an issue of "War Machine" to create this display. This is possibly my favourite A.C.B.A. display of all time.
Will definitely use him more in future displays.

"Modification"

Got myself a custom "Extremis Iron Man". Had the regular version but this was modded by "Flash Thompson" to have 2 interchangeable and magnetised head. Serious value for money.

"Spoils of War"

Chanced upon the "Planet Hulk" today at CSC when I collected the "Select" versions of "Rhino" and "Venom".
Was inspired to create this display that includes my custom "Hulk" and the "Face-off" version.
The detail on the "Planet Hulk" is impressive except for the pants. I felt that the pants on him should have been tattered instead of being so pristine.

M.O.D.O.K. & "Leader"

Previously talked about never having seen "Red She-Hulk" in the comics but I finally read a "Hulk" novel that not only had her in the story but "Red Hulk", M.O.D.O.K. and "Leader". I was enthralled by the novel and went about hunting for the 2 villains.
Successfully got both villains from the same buyer and they arrived in excellent condition today. Was so excited to put together this display.

"Recruitment Part II"

In a continuation of the recruitment theme, I decided to substitute the "Spidey" and "Fury" figs with their alternate versions.
Cool!!!

March Haul!!!

Massive parcel from "Rick" containing this bunch of goodies. There are a few customs amongst them which is very cool.
It will take me awhile to create displays with them. Stay tuned.

"Recruitment"

Decided to pose my new "Sinister Six: Spider-Man" fig in this recruitment display with "Nick Fury". The articulation on this figure is insane but the neck is a tad loose though.
An amazing fig to have and play around with.
