"Joker Thugs"

My first "Xmas" gift of the year arrived from "BD Earl". He got me 2 "Joker Thugs" in exchange for the "S.H.I.E.L.D. agents" I sent him. Since he was ordering from "Amazon", I paid for 2 more.
Turns out that the figs he got me were actually the "Joker" disguised as a "Thug" fig instead of the regular "Thug". It was a pleasant surprise as it is my preferred version.

"Incarnations of Deadpool"

Finally completed my trio of "Deadpools" and decided to do a combined display depicting all his incarnations.
"B-side" variant.

"Union Jack"

Had this fig for awhile but haven't used him except for an "Invaders" pic. Decided to do a display with "London" in the background.

"Fantastic Four Vs Dr Doom"

Continuing this week's theme... I quickly set up this display with my newly purchased "Minimates". "Minimates" are considered "Rarely Used Figures" because they are not popular and can be hard to pose.
I used the "Iron Fist" prop to depict the "Human Torch" and a "Christmas" decoration as "Invisible Woman" within a "forcefield". This is possibly the most epic display that I have set up.

"Pete's nightmare"

My mind works in mysterious ways. I thought of this display when I bought the "lamp" for fun. It is actually a reading light shaped like one. Here I have "Peter Parker" having a nightmare of "Gwen Stacy" reading a "comic book" with "Venom" on the cover and "Spidey foes" are creeping up on her.

"DC B Heroes"

This week's theme is "Rarely Used Figures" and this bunch here is definitely that especially since most guys in the A.C.B.A. group don't collect DCUC.
This band made up of "Booster Gold", "Atom", "Elongated Man" and "Blue Beetle" is considered "B Heroes" compared to the "Justice League".

"Did you guys hear the one about the fish?"

Was inspired to do a "Comedy Club" scene featuring "Deadpool". Very apt since he's known as "The Merc with the Mouth".
"Faith's" leg popped off in the midst of creating this scene. I need to get her fixed again.

"Optic Blast!!!"

Finally got down to displaying the "Minimates" version of "Cyclops" with the "optic blast" effect. Very very cool figure and provides good contrast against the "Sentinel" BAFs.

"Star-crossed lovers"

"Black Widow" is my choice for favourite "Matt Murdock" lover. Had to pair them for "Duo Week".

"Shooting range"

Finally have a loose "Black Widow". She is a crucial figure to have because her posing possibilities are endless. You can do an "Avengers" display with her. She was also a one time "Daredevil" love interest. Not forgetting the story arc with "Winter Soldier".
I am very sure you will be seeing her often.

"Abducted"

Quickly built up my "Spidey Rogues Gallery" by getting "Sandman", "Vulture", "Kraven" and "Lizard" from "Mindless".
"Doc Ock" was already in my collection but I rarely use it so I added it into this display.

"Kamen Rider: Shocker Combatman"

Was having a "blast" with the "Shocker Combatman" figs at "Mindless's" place earlier today.
I know nothing about "Kamen Rider" but these guys have a fun factor and I'm seriously considering buying 4 of my own.

"Custodian"

Had a great time with "Mindless" this evening hanging out, playing with figs and talking about our hobby.
Read an "X-Men" novel where "Danger" was a custodian looking after the bodies of abducted "X-Men" enemies. Here I have "Danger" talking to a comatose "Sebastian Shaw" as seen in the novel.

"Extraction"

Came up with this idea on the train. I have done a scene with "Lex" and "Metallo" before but this set has a different story to tell.

"Confrontation"

Have to pass this "Bane" to an "eBay" buyer soon. Took a quick pic with it before I have to surrender it.
Haven't used "Nightwing" much for displays either.

"Negotiating terms"

Finally got the regular "Deadpool" with the help of "Adam Jordan". I have the 2 pack with "Warpath" but it's still on "ice" so I finally get to pose a "Redpool" from Hasbro.
Here I depict "Wade" on the phone negotiating a contract job. "Mark Nolan" loves props so this pic is dedicated to him.

"Welcome to the Raft"

Finally used my "Thunderbolts" figures in a display. Here I have "Moonstone", "Ghost", "Juggernaut", "Man-Thing" and "Crossbones" escorting "Wonder Man" to the "Raft".
I think I like the "B-Side" better because of the angle.

"Showdown"

My contribution to the "Got You Covered" theme.
As the theme implies, the aim is to replicate "cover art" or a scene from a "comic". It wasn't easy balancing the "Showdown" figs because their legs are short. "Legends" are easier to work with.

"Keep grinding"

Terminology used in the "community" to encourage "newbies" to keep at it and improve.
Here "Hit-Monkey" is busy "grinding" by setting up a display and taking pics as well as videos. "Deadpool" is editing and uploading his work on the "Internet".

"Fridge raid!!!"

Finally used the "fridge" that I got from "Bangkok". I'm happy with the outcome of this display.
I initially wanted to use the "illuminated bracelet" to simulate the light in the "fridge" but it didn't work out so I used it for this "Loki" display instead.

"Ghost"

Had this fig for awhile but haven't done any displays with him because there were too many artists doing "Thunderbolts" displays.
I held off till now because I wanted to feature him for the "Knowvember" theme.
Not much is known of the villain "Ghost"... a "cyber-terrorist" who targets corporations because he believes that they corrupt our society. His "Ghost Suit" allows him to become intangible and he uses this ability for stealth. Without his mask, he is a social recluse who does not speak to others or bathe. He is currently a member of the "Thunderbolts".

"Old man Wayne"

Was inspired to do this display from a scene in the novel "The Dark Knight Returns". Not the first time I'm using my custom "Jason Todd" tribute and the "Bat Armour".
I used the "Movie Masters" version of "Alfred" to represent an elder "Bruce Wayne" reminiscing.

"Keep your friends close... your enemies closer..."

"Namor" is a character who often switches sides. He has been allies with "Dr Doom" from time to time.
He is one of my fav characters from the "Marvel" universe.

"Lab rat"

Got the "Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde" boxset from G&B today. Was pricey but it had really good props included.
Had "Lizard" holding a "syringe" about to inject his victim with a "serum". Nice details on the fig but pity about the lack of knee and ankle articulation.

"League of Shadows"

Finally did a display featuring "Ra's al Ghul". Got this fig loose from "Toy Outpost" because it was sold out at CSC. Used the "Hand Ninjas" from "Marvel" to represent his "assassins".
Cool fig at S$20 but definitely wouldn't have paid full price at retail for it MOC.

"Super-villains!!!"

Finally got my hands on a C&C "Solomon Grundy" and "Amazo". Got both from "Ron Greene". Added the C&C "Chemo" into this villains display.
Wish the "Amazo" fig was bigger though. He does have nice detail with a "Power Ring" sculpted on his hand. I added the "energy construct" and "Lasso of Truth.

"Buffy & Faith"

Thanks to "Billy" for fixing my "Faith" fig. These 2 were secured to be used as generic characters but why not do a "Buffy" display?
I was playing around with my new "Ikea" lamp with this set-up.

"Mortal enemies"

The theme for the first week of "November" is "Femme Fatale". Decided to do a "Wonder Woman" Vs "Cheetah" display and I was lucky to get "gold thread" from my buddy "Adrian" to represent the "Lasso of Truth".

"Calm down my love"

Only the 2nd time I'm using this "Grey Hulk" for a display. This is an old "Select" so the articulation is very limited. It does not have elbow, waist or knee joints.
In the picture is a "Faith" figure from the "Buffy" TV series. I'm using her as "Betty Ross" who is "Bruce Banner's" love interest and seemingly the only person who can calm down the "Hulk".
