"Guardians of the Galaxy"

Initially wasn't too keen to watch this movie or get the figs but I've since changed my mind.

Decided to do a quick pic before the A.C.B.A. crowd overwhelms the page with them.

 

"Dishing the hurt"

Used "Black Canary" once in my "Justice League" display. Decided to use her again but this time taking down 2 "thugs".

"Back in black"

Decided to use the "Minimate" version of "Eddie Brock" as "Peter Parker" in his black "Spidey" suit.

"Recruit"

Been wanting to do a display with this "cut-out" for the longest time.

When I read the speech, I immediately thought of "Wade" referring to "Logan" and "Scott". I added the lamp prop that I bought from "Toy Outpost" into this scene with "Mark's" dio wall.

"Warrior"

Can't get enough of this "Fighting JC" figure. Was posing him when I discovered that the paint had chipped off on his neck exposing the clear plastic underneath. Was a little annoyed as this fig was expensive and rarely played with.

 I may have to get that area touched up.

"Marvel Knights"

Haven't used the "Minimate" version of "The Punisher" so I figured I should pair "Frank" up with "Daredevil".

I love this "Young Justice" rooftop set so much.

"The Invaders!!!"

Got a bunch of new "Minimates" from "Rick". Decided to do an "Invaders" pic.

"Summon!!!"

Had this "Raven" fig for awhile but never did any displays with her till today. Good opportunity to pose her with the new "Wargs" I got.

"Hitwoman"

"Black Widow" is a "master spy" and disguises must be one of her many skills. I decided to "swap" heads and have her in a dress.

I like this look a lot.

"Crime scene"

Wanted to use the "alley" dio that I received and decided to use it with "Gordon" and "Bats".

Just a crime scene that I put together.

"Matt & Natasha"

Amongst all of "Matt's" lovers... I've always felt "Natasha" was his best match and that's why I chose this couple for my "Valentine's Day" pic.

"Alter ego: Bruce Wayne/Batman"

Received a huge package from "Rick" today and it was filled with props. The one prop I was anxious to play with was the "Château stairway" from "The Matrix" movie.
Assembly was required as there were difficult parts to put together. When I was done, it was a "no brainer" that I had to do this display.

"Jean Grey School for Higher Learning's receptionist"

Never seen "Doop" in the comics before but I just like the figure even with its limited articulation. The character is so unique and interesting. Pity he isn't used more by "Marvel".

"Rummage"

Was originally thinking of another concept but ended up doing this one instead where "THe Question" is rummaging through a desk.

The "B-side" features him taking pics as evidence.

"The Question" is an obscure but interesting character. Wish that they didn't kill him off and replace him with "Renee Montoya".

"Alter ego: Tim Drake/Robin/Red Robin"

This display is dedicated to "Kirby Pags". He requested a display with the "Todd Tribute".

Here I have "Tim Drake" as a boy with his older selves. This is probably his first time in the "Bat Cave" and seeing the tribute.

"Justlice League of America"

Was requested by my colleague, BH, to do a "Got You Covered" display featuring the "Justice League of America". I got a shock when she sent me a link to the "cover art" by "Alex Ross" who is one of my fav artists.

I hope that I did his work justice. Pardon the pun.

"Heroes"

Perspective is an interesting because it all depends on your point of view. "Steve Rogers" and "Nick Fury" are "American patriots".

The same could be said of "Black Widow" and "The Winter Soldier" to the "Russians".

"Talk"

Bought these WWE figs to use as "thugs". Kind of regret getting them because their leg articulation is horrible. They can only be used in static poses.

"No matches... no problem"

Wanted to do another display with the flame prop and arrived at this. "Ciggie" prop made by "Billy". Love this "Constantine" figure.

"The Spectre: God's vengence"

"The Spectre"... a seldom featured character and rarely displayed fig. Was inspired by "Mark G. Nolan" to do this scene.
I like how the effect of the "burning face" came out.

"Alter ego: Daken/Dark Wolverine"

Did a continuation of my "Alter ego" series and I got creative with using "Commissioner Gordon's" body for "Daken". I don't have a tattooed body so I had to pick a fig that had the arms hidden with sleeves.
The new "Hasbro" figures have easy to "pop" off heads.
