"Bounty Hunter"

"The Battle of Hoth" scene from "Star Wars: The Empire strikes back" is my earliest memory of footage I watched in a cinema as a child. The AT-ATs lumbering across the snow covered terrain is so iconic.
Of course there was also the dramatic freezing of "Han" in "Carbonite" as depicted by me here with "Boba Fett" admiring his hostage.
The original "trilogy" is in my all-time favourite movies list but I swore off "Star Wars" toys until I "caved in" when this boxset was discounted at "Simply Toys". Now I need 2 "Stormtroopers" and maybe "Chewbucca".

"Experiment"

Was asked why I didn't include "Colossus" in my "X-Men" display the other day. I just felt like he would stick out like a sore thumb in that pic.
I removed his vest here and you get a chance to admire the details on the figure.

"Let me help you"

Needed a "Dr Fate" as part of my "Justice Society of America" team. Finally got him for a decent price and had to do a display with him.

Added a "cut-out" to the display.

"Disguise"

Wanted to do a funny pic so I came up with these 2 for different reasons. "Deadpool" is always up to "wacky" antics so here I have "Bob" stunned.
"Mystique" on the other hand is a "shape shifter" so this is totally a "campy" pic by me.

"Possession"

A seriously under-rated figure from the DCUC line. This variant is one of my fav figs of all-time.
I finally had the opportunity to use the "Little Nicky" fig from the movie of the same name.

"Prelude"

I'm expecting a "flurry" of "X-Men" displays soon because of the upcoming movie so I decided to get a "jump" on the ACBA family by doing this pic.

"An axe to grind"

Was practising for my "Choir" audition when this idea struck me.
Intended to have "The Spectre" in this but it is difficult to fit a levitating entity into this small space.

"Incarceration"

This scene was inspired by the arrival of 2 "Mandroids" and the "Civil War" storyline.
It was difficult getting "Maria Hill" and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent into walking poses as they kept falling over. I need more practise.

"Date night"

I was caught between doing a pic of "Huntress" with "Catman" or "The Question". Q won the contest.
Now I really want the "Oracle" fig that came with the "Birds of Prey" set from "DC Direct".

"Warning"

I've never seen "Metron" in the "comics" before so I had to reference "Google" for ideas to arrive at this scene.
DCUC figs always "pop" in photographs.

"Sunday Cartoons"

My favourite childhood memory is waking up to catch cartoons on Sunday mornings. My sister and I were not close but this was one of the few activities that we did together without fighting.
It was fun placing "Finn", "Jake" and "B Mo" into position for this scene. I love how the lighting simulates light from the TV.

"Special delivery"

Always wanted to do an "Agent 47" aka "Hitman" display. My original concept wasn't this but I had a sudden inspiration during my shower.
I like this a lot.

"Training Day"

Read the "All-New X-Men" recently where "Logan" is the "Headmaster". This scene was inspired by that storyline.
Here "Logan" and "Beast" are supervising new students in the "Danger Room". The "goggles" are from "Silent Bob".

"Bat Computer"

Finally got a "console" to use in display. Immediately thought of doing a "Bat Computer" scene. I've done a similar pic before but without the prop.
Decided to feature rarely used figs like "Batgirl" and "Tim Drake".

"Gwen"

Loved "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" movie. Wanted to do a "Gwen Stacy" pic but I couldn't locate my "Buffy" fig after hours of searching. Ended up swopping the head of "Emma Frost" onto the MJ fig to do this display instead.
"B-side" where she died.

"Ghostbusters!!!"

Grew up in the 80s when they had the greatest movies. "Star Wars", "Terminator", "Robocop", "Back to the future", "Ghostbusters" and the list goes on. I had to get this set and I seriously need to watch my DVD.
The movies nowadays pale in comparison.
